MC7 Perfect Prčice

This route goes along roads and paths. The most difficult section is the kilometre down through the alley of trees to Horní Matějov, then the crossing over the hill from the farm in Božetín to Na Františku. We bypass the farm in Božetín, the route also, controversially, goes through it.

From the chairlift upper station, we go across Javorová skála, at Krošíček we cross the farm towards Dolní Veletín, from the former hunting lodge we turn right and up to the chapel, from where we turn left on the romantic „multi-lane“ path to Dolní Matějov, also with a chapel. From Kvasejovice, we go up along the road under Sušetice, from where we turn left down past the farm, then right on the road to Uhříce, from where we pass the chapels left to Sedlec and Prčice. From Prčice square, we head up through Přestavlky and Nové Mitrovice then towards Staré Mitrovice, before reaching which we turn right to Rohov and Božetín. From Božetín across the hill to Na Františku (Vrchotice) and Jetříchovice, M2.

The town of Sedlec - Prčice was formed when the two villages were joined in 1957. Prčice is the final destination of the Prague – Prčice walk which takes place annually, and Ivan Mládek is an honorary citizen because of his song about this walk. Prčice has musical festivals, and Studio Prčice also a cultural destination. U Škrpálu offers a period setting.
