Golf

There are two golf arear near by Monínec. Golf klub Čertovo břemeno is 2 km by walking or 4 km by car. The other one is Golf resort Konopoště and it is 30 km far away.

Čertovo břemeno Golf Club is one of the most modern and popular golf courses in the Czech Republic. In addition to the eighteen-hole course, there is also a training section. You can also learn golf with an experienced trainer. 2 km from Monínec by foot, or 4 km by car.

This eighteen-hole golf course is blended into the landscape as if it has always been part of it. It threads between hedgerows, with streams running through it and ponds forming watery corners. The countryside is one of undulating hills, so you go up a bit, and then down again. Essentially a proper Czech rural landscape. In total, it isn’t a long golf course, measuring less than five kilometres, and the fairways are next to each other. But it’s a beautiful course and you can play a great game of golf here.

For the second hole, you play across two streams around a pond. You’ll need to hit across a pond on the next hole too. The fourth hole hasn’t got the longest fairway, but it is considered the hardest. The sixth hole is absolutely wonderful, a dogleg right from both sides in broken by water obstacles, and from a downwards sloping teeing ground. Valiant golfers won’t mind the little wood you need to hit the ball over if you want to get a smaller number of strokes. There’s another stream awaiting you on the eighth hole in front of the putting green. And you’ll finish on a par five hole which leads to the club house.

The golf course was opened in 2002 when work was completed on the unusual club house, which looks like a dugout as you enter. There is also a driving range and two practice greens. Since 2009, the course has been extended to have 18 holes. Players without a handicap can also play on the course, but you must be able to keep to the game, rules and ethics of golf. And because of the wonderful location, anyone who comes here, even unintentionally, will love to return. Like the members of Čertovo Břemeno Golf Club, who chose it as their home course.

Radecký

The championship 18-hole course has a par 72 and a length of 6,484 meters from the black (professional) tees. In cooperation with the European PGA, a course was created sensitively set in a slightly undulating landscape, with an interesting forest section, a number of bunkers and water obstacles and above all with very high-quality, large and beautifully modeled greens. The name of the "Radecký" course is derived from one of the original owners of the estate, the famous marshal of the Napoleonic Wars - Václav Radecký from Radče. Only a valid HCP is allowed on this course, ie at least 54.

d'Este

The d´Este 18-hole championship course has a par 72 and a length of 6,086 meters from the white tees. The course is sensitively set in a slightly undulating landscape, has a number of bunkers and water obstacles. The dominant feature is the island green hole No. 9. The name of the course is associated with Archduke Francis Ferdinand d'Este, the successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne. Only a valid HCP is allowed on this course, ie at least 54.

Public

The 9-hole Public course is par 29 and 1,285 meters long from the yellow tees. There are two couples 4 with an average length of 200 m on the course, couples 3 have an average length of 125 m, there are also bunkers and a water barrier. The game is also possible for players without disabilities and the fee is perceived as a full day.
